Que Sera Sera is officially freezing here in Melbourne today! At the moment it is 10 degrees, how I wish at present we were back in Queensland relaxing on the beach! Instead I am wearing my leggings and Ugg Boots.
I suppose I will make the best of the cold weather and head down to Reverence on Union Road at Ascot Vale after I pick up the kids from school and grab a hot chocolate with extra marshmellows...I have no doubt the younger ones will enjoy!
Getting set for ANZAC day tomorrow Que Sera Sera and clan will be heading into the Shrine of Rememberence to remember those who paid the ultimate price so we could enjoy the life we do today.
We will head home in the afternoon to watch the afternoons sporting events.. I have heard that the ANZAC day game of AFL at the MCG is something to see and I will be watching on TV especially since it is our team playing Essendon vs Collingwood, go the Bombers...Looks like I will be cheering you boys on in my trackies and boots and scarf etc etc whatever will keep me warm!
Have a peaceful ANZAC day everyone...LEST WE FORGET.

Que Sera Sera had a mission on Saturday morning to find the male in the mix an outfit (in particular jeans) to wear that night. So a plan was hatched! First Brunch and then to the shops of Bridge Rd, Richmond for the Jeans....
Brunch was consumed eagerly at Cafe, Bar, Restaurant "TruTrack" at North Melbourne, apparently a "trutrack" has something to do with a car's suspension and that was why a vintage car was suspended up on a hoist just above the espresso machine behind a glass window, very impressive to the male members of our brunch party.
On order were of course coffee's, milkshakes etc, but once the French Toast with maple syrup and thickened cream arrived hardly any of our footy mad party noticed the North Melbourne football players sitting at the table next to us and continued to devour what was a delicious and divine brunch!
Que Sera Sera continued on to Bridge Rd, Richmond where a pair of designer jeans were purchased for a price that shall not be mentioned, what will be mentioned though were that the jeans looked, well shall we say......H O T... on the male in question. The mini males that tagged along for the shopping in Bridge Rd were eager to try on and model a large range of hats that were available at reasonable prices as well, and seemed amused and eager to please other shoppers with their modelling antics. A "shuffle" here a "model" there....
Mission accomplished, brunch - tick, jeans - tick, a little bit of fun - tick!!
Cafe TruTrack can be found at 52 Leveson Street, North Melbourne.

The Premises - Macauley Rd, Kensington
Que Sera Sera discovered "The Premises" this morning for what turned out to be a lovely brunch.
Located in Kensington's main street, Macauley Rd this cafe had a very cool vibe.
Among the handful of enticing brunches on the menu it was the white beans with basil mint pesto, crumbled goats feta and toasted ciabatta that was the pick for brunch. The coffee was delivered with a smile and then was consumed whilst watching the world go by perched on an old wooden bar stool at the front window of the cafe.
Que Sera Sera definately will be going back simply to sample some of the cakes on offer as they looked to die for.
If your a fan of homemade relish or marmalade then "The Premises" offers a take home jar of each for around $8.50, made in their kitchens by Nanna.
Friendly groovy staff just added to the fab mix that this cafe has going on, if you can make a point of paying a visit next time your in Melbourne.
A bunch of flowers purchased from the florist next door topped off what was a lovely morning in Kensington!

South Melbourne Markets - something for every foodie!
There certainly is something to be said about the array of different and delicious foods available at the South Melbourne markets, but what Que Sera Sera loves the most is spending Friday afternoons in the heart of the markets enjoying freshly shucked oysters that my new found friend Anthony is happy to provide me for $1 an oyster whilst I contemplate what delectable delights one will prepare for dinner. So much to choose from and all fresh.
Tonight perhaps sashimi of Tuna with a wasabi mayonnaise and daikon salad.....mmmm
Que Sera Sera also loves the entertainment on offer at South Melbourne Market which you can enjoy with a glass of wine and some chilli corriander steamed mussells prepared right in front of you! Or as the little people in my life like the famous South Melbourne Market Dim Sim, so good but be prepared to get soy sauce everywhere!!
